Surfing has long been one of the most popular recreational activities practised throughout Costa Rica and the variety of locales is what keeps bringing surfers back year after year. Potrero Bay itself is not known for attracting surfers, although the community provides a great home base for visiting nearby points and breaks just a short drive away.
Toes to the Nose is a surf school specializing in teaching beginning student the basic techniques needed for a fun safe time in the water, and helping intermediate level surfers improve their skills.
