Surfside Estates is one of the largest local residential development projects, running almost the entire length of the beach and back into the surrounding countryside almost 2km. There are well over 800 building lots in this community, and all have electricity and water hookups. The area was developed in the 70's and sold off mostly to foreign investors and features multiple beach access points, a community orchard, a protected harbor and expansive beach.
